How much vitamin D should you consume each day?

The role of vitamin D is more than essential in our body: it ensures many functions of our organism. This vitamin is synthesized naturally in the skin during exposure to sunlight and also provided by certain foods in our diet. It is the best friend of our bones and teeth, but also of our immune system.

What is Vitamin D?

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, it dissolves in fat. There are two more well-known forms:
