Organic Chamomile

Yarrow tea contains bitter principles that promote digestion and absorption by stimulating appetite, the production of digestive juices and liver function. Rich in volatile oils (azulenes) with anti-inflammatory properties, it calms the irritation of all the mucous membranes of the body. At the digestive level, it relieves the symptoms of colitis, diverticulitis, irritable bowel and gastritis. The astringent action of its tannins completes that of azulene by repairing the mucous membranes. Yarrow tea reduces excess heat and dampness in the body, relieves diarrhea and decreases intestinal putrefaction. It is antispasmodic, carminative and calms gastric disturbances, intestinal cramps and flatulence.

In hot infusion, yarrow is an excellent diaphoretic, beneficial for relieving fever. It acts on the inflammation of the mucous membranes of the respiratory and ENT systems in addition to being antimicrobial and slightly expectorant.

Used in cold infusion, yarrow has a tonic effect on the female reproductive system. It is the combination of its hormonal and hepatic regulatory actions that make it so effective in restoring hormonal balance. It acts on both estrogen and progesterone levels. It is used at all stages of women's lives to regulate the menstrual cycle, alleviate premenstrual syndrome, relieve symptoms of menopause (abnormal bleeding, hot flashes). Emmenagogue, it stops heavy menstrual bleeding and triggers delayed menstruation.

Achillea millefolium is astringent and tonic, it relieves uterine and pelvic congestion. It is beneficial in uterine prolapse, leucorrhoea, endometriosis and fibroids with bright red bleeding. Its anti-inflammatory action relieves the pain associated with these conditions and its antispasmodic effects soothe menstrual cramps. It can also be used as a sitz bath to alleviate cramps in the pelvic region.

Achillea millefolium stimulates blood circulation and tones blood vessels (varicose veins, hemorrhoids). It is hemostatic and stops bleeding of all origins. We appreciate its diuretic, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects of the urinary tract during cystitis.
