Use

Essentia is available in 180 digestive enzyme capsules. Gentian is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve digestive upset/dyspepsia and as a digestive tonic and bitter to help stimulate appetite and aid digestion.

Recommendations

Adults: Take 2 capsules, 3 times daily, 15 minutes before meals. Consult a health care practitioner for prolonged use.

Caution

Do not use: if you are pregnant, if you suffer from acute irritation or inflammation of the stomach, or from a gastric or duodenal ulcer.

Known adverse reactions : Headaches, heartburn, bloating or hypersensitivity (ie allergy) may occur. If so, discontinue use.

  • Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if: Symptoms persist or worsen, if you are breastfeeding, if you are allergic to latex or to fruits (such as avocado, banana, chestnut, passion, fig, melon, mango, kiwi, pineapple, peach and tomato), if you are taking blood thinners, anti-inflammatories or other products containing enzymes or before undergo surgery.
